Áldu Adventures

Áldu is owned and operated by two reindeer herding families from Karasjok, Finnmark, Norway. For them, reindeer herding is not only their livelihood but is also inextricably linked to their culture and identity. They share their Sami culture through the various activities and products they offer. In addition, they convey how they live in harmony with nature and its resources. 

Áldu means female reindeer with a calf in the Sami language, for them, she is the reason why they can work with these beautiful animals. Áldu also symbolizes new life and she is the "mother" of their adventures.
