The Burggraben Gorge is situated to the south of Lake Attersee; it is a canyon carved out by the stream of the same name, where visitors can enjoy canyoning. Indeed, this environment has been shaped in such a way that you can jump into pools of cool water around 14°C (optional jumps of up to 3.5 metres high), slide down natural water slides and abseil down walls up to 18 metres high. It therefore has everything you need to get active and have a brilliant time in the great outdoors, even if you have never tried canyoning before! To take part, you simply need to be able to swim and be aged 12 or over.
This canyoning experience in the Burggraben Gorge is organised by Outdoorfriends, a team of professionals specialising in this white-water sport. You will benefit from a safe, supervised experience with one instructor for a maximum of 8 participants – the ideal ratio to enjoy an adventure tailored to the pace of your group of friends, family or couple. The instructor will not only ensure your safety but will also help you negotiate any obstacles as needed. They will also provide you with all the equipment required for canyoning, including footwear specially designed for the sport.
