Course of events

Meet your guide in Ponta Delgada and start the excursion.
First stop at Salto do Cavalo viewpoint for panoramic views over the Furnas crater.
Descend towards Povoação, the oldest village on the island.
Admire the wild landscapes of Serra da Tronqueira, a protected area home to several endemic species.
Continue the drive up to Pico Bartolomeu, one of the highest points on São Miguel.
Explore the historic center of Vila do Nordeste, known for its traditional Azorean architecture, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (lunch is included only in the shared tour).
In the afternoon, stop at several optional viewpoints along the coast, with availability depending on the weather conditions:
- Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, famous for their flower-filled gardens and Atlantic views
- Vigia dos Barcos, overlooking an old fishing port
- Vigia das Baleias, a former whale lookout
- Miradouro Despe-te Que Suas
- Ponta do Cintrão
Enjoy the last stop of the day at Ribeira dos Caldeirões Park, where you can admire waterfalls, historic watermills and lush vegetation.
Return to Ponta Delgada.

Pause at the Pico da Cruz viewpoint (856m) to admire over the Sete Cidades caldera, the famous Blue and Green Lagoons, as well as Lagoa Rasa and Lagoa de Santiago.
Continue to the Cumeeiras Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the entire crater and Sete Cidades.
Descend into the village of Sete Cidades and enjoy an Azorean lunch at a local restaurant (lunch is included only in the shared tour).
Follow a dirt track along the edge of the Blue Lagoon for up-close views and excellent photo opportunities.
Travel to the coastline of Mosteiros, known for black sand beaches, volcanic rock pools, and islets.
