Course of events
- You’re picked up at your hotel or accommodation in São Miguel by your certified guide, in a deluxe SUV equipped with A/C, chargers and comfortable seating
- The tour begins with a scenic drive to Furnas, crossing lush volcanic landscapes and learning about the island’s unique ecosystem along the way
- Stop at Pico do Ferro viewpoint to admire panoramic views over the Furnas valley and crater lake
- Arrive at the geothermal area of Caldeiras das Furnas, where you observe natural steam vents, bubbling springs and traditional cooking spots
- Head to Octant Furnas Spa, where you’ll enjoy 50 minutes of relaxation in naturally heated, mineral-rich thermal waters
