About the activity
Picture yourself gliding peacefully across the water as nature awakens around you: the first rays of sunlight appear, seabirds soar overhead, and the calm morning conditions allow you to fully savour the moment.
Join this morning sea kayaking trip at Cap-Bon-Ami and experience it for yourself. During approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes on the water, you will paddle in a small group to admire the majestic cliffs overlooking the Gulf of St Lawrence and the birdlife that inhabits them. No previous sea kayaking experience is required to take part. Your professional guide, certified by Paddle Canada, will accompany you from start to finish and ensure your safety throughout the excursion.
Comfortably seated in your kayak, you will leave from Cap-des-Rosiers harbour and head towards Cap Bon Ami. On arrival near the cliffs, you will have time to take in the scenery and observe seabirds while your ornithologist guide helps you identify species (such as black-legged kittiwakes and little auks) and understand their movements between sea and land. As the northern coast of Forillon Park is very remote with little or no land access, you will enjoy a truly wild and unspoilt setting during your kayaking trip at Cap-Bon-Ami. With a bit of luck, you may even spot marine mammals.
Ideal for beginners wishing to discover the outstanding natural environment of the Gaspé Peninsula, this sea kayaking excursion near Forillon Park offers a real change of scenery. Book now and get ready for an unforgettable morning in Québec!
