Activity description

Discover magnificent cliffs and breathtaking views during a half day sea kayaking adventure in the Saguenay Fjord from Sainte-Rose-du-Nord!

An ancient glacial valley that has been filled by marine waters, the Saguenay Fjord is a truly special place and is part of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. Starting from your launch point in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, there is so much to take in as you kayak through the park! Apart from the great geological formations, the Canadian Shield and the Appalachians, which surround you with their dizzying façades, you also have three marine ecosystems that offer immense biodiversity. Notably, the waters of the Saguenay fjord are home to seals and belugas!

Led by an experienced guide, you'll have the opportunity to explore this splendid fjord in complete safety. Your guide will help you discover the secrets of this unique fjord, including the extraordinary stories of the first inhabitants of the Saguenay fjord. During the sea kayak tour, there will be a stop on a wild beach to enjoy a gourmet, seasonal meal, completing your immersion in this exceptional setting. You'll also have the chance to go for a swim in the fjord!

Whether you're with family, friends, or on your own, this sea kayaking outing in the Saguenay fjord is suitable for everyone. Each tour is limited to a small group and is customised to your interests and kayaking level, allowing you to bring along your little ones (3 years and up).
