Climb the via ferrata at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux on the edge of the Saguenay Fjord and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views!
It is a journey along the water's edge that awaits you with the via ferrata at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux, an experience somewhere between climbing and hiking on the banks of the magnificent Saguenay Fjord. Equipped with all the equipment you need to progress along the cable and ensure your safety, you will move along a rock face that runs vertically along the fjord and has been specially designed for the activity: steps, beams, etc., you are in for a thrill just above the water on this via ferrata near Saguenay!
The via ferrata at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux in Saint-Fulgence is open to children aged 10 and over who are comfortable with heights, as some sections of the course can be impressive for some people. You will complete the activity alongside a guide who will be there to help you over the obstacles and ensure your safety, as well as showing you the incredible scenery you will see from the heights of the via ferrata on the Saguenay Fjord. In all, almost 2.5 hours of adventure await you!
Whatever the season, summer or autumn, the via ferrata at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux will offer you a superb outdoor experience in the sublime setting of the Saguenay Fjord!
- Meeting with an instructor at the park reception 30 minutes before the start of the activity (10 minutes if you are already on site)
- Distribution of equipment and 10-minute walk to the start of the via ferrata
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Departure for approximately 2.5-hour of via ferrata on the banks of the Saguenay Fjord
- End of the route, return to the park reception (10-minute walk) to return the equipment and end of the activity.
Activity requirements
Minimum weight: 90 lbs (41 kg) / Maximum weight: 240 lbs (108 kg) with a maximum waist circumference of 117 cm
Minimum height: 150 cm arms raised
Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the activity (10 minutes if you are already on site).
Minors under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Minors aged 17 and over must present a parental authorisation to take part in the activity independently.
Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Special terms
Pregnant people are not advised to participate in this activity.
Anyone not complying with the weight limits will be weighed at reception and refused if necessary.
