Come and snorkel at Papagayo beach in Lanzarote: the most beautiful beach on the island!
Lanzarote is the third largest island of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Although it is a little less known than its neighbours, Lanzarote is one of the best destinations in the Canary Islands to get lost in, as the combination of the volcanic landscapes of lava fields and black earth with the beaches of crystal clear water and white sand leaves no one indifferent, the island is also very rich in fauna and flora, so hiking or diving is simply amazing.
The instructors of Snorkel Lanzarote offer you a snorkelling trip to Papagayo beach, the most beautiful beach of Lanzarote. Are you coming? Papagayo beach is located in the south of the island, in the Ajaches National Park. It is a small cove in the shape of a bay or shell with crystal clear waters, which makes it perfect for snorkelling. On this excursion, the instructors of Snorkel Lanzarote will provide you with all the necessary equipment such as fins, snorkelling goggles and wetsuit. After explaining basic snorkelling techniques, how to breathe and some relevant information about the Ajaches National Park, they will take you for 45 minutes to snorkel around the Papagayo Beach. A unique experience where you will see fish such as mullet, loggerhead turtles, cuttlefish and trumpet fish.

- Meet the instructor in the car park at Papagayo Beach, where the instructor will hand out the snorkel, fins, booties and wetsuit. Personal belongings can be left in the instructor's car.
- The instructor will provide a brief theory on how to use the snorkelling equipment, movement with the fins, posture and some particularities of the Ajaches Natural Park.
- Once equipped, 5 minute walk to Playa de los Papagayos.
- Snorkelling dive of about 45 minutes.
- Exit the water and return to the meeting point.
Knowing how to swim.
The minimum weight for this activity is 40kg and the maximum 120kg.
You must be of legal age. Children over 14 years of age can take part in the activity, provided they are accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
The maximum age is 80 years old.
Special terms
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
Not recommended for people with a physical disability.
The belongings can be left in the instructor's car, which is locked.
To get to the meeting point, drive along the entrance road to the Natural Park. There you will find a booth where you have to pay a tax of 3 euros per car, only by card. From this post, you have to drive about 10 minutes to the meeting point.
