Course of events
Please allow 5 hours in total for this activity.
- Meeting & welcome (15 min) : meet your guide at the base in Los Cristianos (toilets available) or directly at the starting point of the E Bike tour (the meeting point in the mountains is Caserio Los Partidos El Tanque, parking is easy there). Introduction to your guide and group, quick check-in and equipment fitting.
- Transfer to the starting point (40 min): if you choose to meet your guide at the base, drive in their van to the mountain area and enjoy the scenery as you climb towards the volcanoes.
- Bike setup & safety briefing (15–20 min): Adjust bikes to your size, explanation of e-bike functions, safety instructions and riding tips.
- Start of the ride (3 hours) – pine forest trails: begin riding on easy forest tracks, get comfortable with the e-bike, gradual warm-up in a relaxed pace.
- Volcanic terrain – Chinyero & lava fields: enter the volcanic landscape, ride across lava fields from the 1909 eruption, stops for photos and short explanations.
- Arenas Negras & open volcanic views: continue through wide, open terrain, enjoy panoramic views and unique rock formations, short breaks to take in the scenery
- Pico Viejo & Teide viewpoints: ride towards viewpoints with views of Teide, time to stop, rest, and take photos, the guide shares insights about the volcanoes
- Return ride: relaxed pace back towards the starting point
- End of the activity if you came with your own car.
- Return transfer for the others (40 min): drive back to the base (toilets available).

All participants must know how to ride a bike to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants must sign an on-site insurance waiver.

All equipment is included for this cycling excursion in Teide National Park. All you need to bring is a pair of trainers, clothing suited to the weather, and some water and a snack if you'd like.
