About the activity

Bordered by the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, Porto-Vecchio is the third largest town on the Island of Beauty and the starting point for this boat excursion, heading towards some of the gems of southern Corsica. Aboard the Avventura, a comfortable boat designed for a maximum of 12 passengers, you will set off for 4 memorable hours at sea, discovering the wonders of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve.

You will first head towards the Cerbicales Islands, where, if luck is on your side, you may cross paths with cormorants, Yelkouan shearwaters, gulls, and pallid swifts in their natural habitat. You will then continue towards the island of Cavallo to admire its striking and architecturally impressive villas from a distance. Next comes the most eagerly anticipated moment of the trip: anchoring at the Lavezzi Islands for a swimming and snorkelling break. Located 10 km south-east of the town of Bonifacio, this 200-hectare archipelago is made up of 23 granite islands, islets, and reefs surrounded by crystal-clear waters.

After this restful interlude, your captain will head back along the south-east Corsican coastline towards the bay of Porto Novo. You will have the chance to take to the water again, equipped with a mask and a snorkel to make sure you don't miss any of the treasures hidden beneath the surface of the crystal-clear waters of the Bonifacio Nature Reserve. Throughout the experience, your captain will be happy to share their knowledge of the exceptional wildlife and flora you'll encounter during this boat trip. Très belle sortie en mer, le temps ne nous a pas permis d’aller vers Bonifacio mais notre guide s’est très bien adapté et nous avons pu profiter d’une 2e baignade dans l’eau de la magnifique plage de Porto novo, c’était vraiment superbe 🤩

Un très bon moment passé à visiter les îles et les lagons, en partie grâce a notre accompagnateur skipper Gilles, un corse, un vrai qui a su nous faire découvrir la corse sous un autre œil. Et qui nous a régaler les oreilles avec l’histoire de son île.

Le capitaine était vraiment gentil et nous appris pleins d’histoires sur la Corse et les endroits où nous sommes allées. Malgré un vent assez fort et un bateau assez secouant, nous avons passé belle une journée, nous avons pus admirer les poissons a la réserve naturelle Lazzeri et nous baigner sur plage débordante d’histoire.
