Discover Scuba Diving in Lumio near Calvi, Balagne

Please allow 2.5 hours in total for this activity.

• Arrive at the meeting point (free car park near the dive centre).
• Receive a warm welcome from the team and complete the necessary administrative formalities.
• Get equipped with all the required gear in a designated area (wetsuit, mask, regulator, etc.).
• Listen to your instructor’s briefing, including explanations on how the dive will take place.
• Depart by boat to the dive site selected by your instructor.
• Enjoy a shallow dive (maximum depth 6 metres) with your instructor underwater for 15–20 minutes.
• Return to the dive centre by boat and take part in a debriefing session.
• Finish with a hot shower and receive your first diving certificate.

During this introductory dive, you’ll learn the essential basics of scuba diving: how to breathe confidently underwater, communicate using hand signals, kick efficiently, and move smoothly under the guidance of a professional instructor, all while discovering the marine life and underwater flora of Corsica for a fun and unforgettable first experience.

You don't need to know how to swim perfectly to take part in this activity: you just need to be comfortable in the water.

Parental authorisation is required for minors taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.

A companion may be present on the boat without taking part in the dive. For this, please reserve a "spectator".

No photos are available for the first dive.

For this activity, you must not have any of the following contraindications: respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes or epilepsy. If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact us or ask for medical advice.

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.
