The second-largest lake in Corsica, with a surface area of 6.5 hectares, Lac de Nino is an essential part of the GR20, the region's legendary hiking trail. Experienced hikers are sure to make their way to this magnificent site during their GR20 excursion, with Lac de Nino and its pozzines offering sublime mountain scenery at an altitude of 1,743 meters. But even if you're not planning to do the GR20, you can still reach Lac de Nino on a guided hike if you are sporty enough!

Jean-Baptiste Simi, a state-qualified mountain guide and native Corsican, will take you on a private hike to Lac de Nino, in the heart of the Corsican Regional Nature Park. In a small group of just you and your family, you will have the pleasure of reaching this superb mountain lake after a climb of around 2.5 hours, with a positive difference in altitude of 740 meters. You will need to be in good physical condition and have a good level of fitness!
