Equipped with a life jacket and accompanied by an experienced local guide, you’ll learn to paddle and steer your canoraft through the river’s 12 rapids, ranging from class II to III. The highlight? A spectacular 1-mile stretch with 9 rapids, each one every few minutes as you glide through a narrow karst canyon, surrounded by emerald pools, white limestone cliffs, and lush beech and oak forests - like discovering a hidden jungle in the heart of Croatia. The area is now officially protected as a natural monument, which helps preserve its untouched beauty and unique ecosystem.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to swim in crystal-clear waters, jump from cliffs, or simply enjoy the ride - every obstacle can be walked around if you prefer. The water is especially refreshing during the summer months, perfect for a dip on warm days. A 20-minute break is included to relax, swim or explore the natural surroundings.

At the base camp in Zečev Varoš, you’ll find toilets, changing facilities, and a friendly team ready to welcome you. Your guide will also take photos during the tour, which are shared free of charge - the perfect souvenir from your adventure on the Mrežnica River, now protected as a natural monument for its exceptional biodiversity and beauty.
