The dive excursion begins by meeting the certified instructor at the dive centre in Cape Greco. You must hold a valid Scuba Diver certification to partake in this activity. The instructor will conduct a quick safety briefing and set up the scuba diving equipment (wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, tank and weights). You’ll then travel by boat to one of the many dive sites in the area.

There are plenty of popular dive sites in Protaras to choose from, depending on the group’s preferences and the conditions of the day. For this activity, you’ll be diving from the shore. The waters around Protaras are clear and warm, with optimal visibility for scuba diving. You may visit the Ocean Aquarium, a shallow dive site with plenty of colourful fish and interesting rock formations. The Lady Thetis shipwreck is another famous site in the area, where a 30-metre-long cargo ship lays that sank in 1980. Other popular sites include Green Bay, a shallow site with calm waters, and the Caves, a collection of underwater caves and caverns.

With the guide's supervision, you’ll dive beneath the surface and discover a whole new world! Each site offers something unique for every diver.
