Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a category B driver's license, written in Latin Italics and valid in Finland. Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity (digital versions/photographs will not be accepted).
It is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour.
Self-liability: The driver of the vehicle is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle. This self-risk amount is a flat rate of EUR 900 per driver / snowmobile / accident case, without exception or regard to the extent of the damage. We cannot accept any liability for personal injury or material damage arising out of an accident during any other excursions which do not involve snowmobiling. Personal travel insurance is highly recommended. The self liability flat rate can be reduced to 200 € per driver / accident case by purchasing a self liability waiver from Wild Nordic for 20 € / driver for the shorter (1-4 hour) safaris.
Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.

The adventure begins at the meeting point in Sirkka, where you'll be transferred to the departure point. Upon arrival, you and your group will gear up in thermal clothing. Your experienced guide will give a safety briefing and an introduction to snowmobiling techniques. With your helmet securely fastened, the fun starts! You'll experience the thrill of snowmobiling at high speeds through the breathtaking winter landscape. *Please note that all children ages 4-14 will be pulled behind the guide's snowmobile in a sledge.
Throughout the snowmobile tour, you'll make several stops to admire the ever-changing scenery and savour the winter panoramas. If weather conditions permit, you may reach the summit of the Lappish Fells for a breathtaking view. Don't forget to bring your camera! In addition, you'll stop at an authentic and cosy Lappish Café and will be treated to a warm beverage and delicious snack. You'll return to the original meeting point in Sirkka, happy with a day well spent in beautiful Lapland.
