The guide will go through a safety briefing and demonstration, before you receive your snowshoeing equipment (snowshoes, poles and gaiters). No prior snowshoe or hiking experience is required. 

There will be an approximately 45-minute scenic drive to the park. Then, you will set off snowshoeing in the beautiful Pallas-Ylästunturi National Park, in the middle of the highest fells of Western Lapland. Thanks to the high-quality snowshoes, you will hike through untouched snow in the middle of some of the most isolated and deserted valleys in the world. Let the peace of the Arctic wildlife envelop you as you make your way through the silent landscape, with only the sound of the snow crunching beneath you for music.

Midway through the excursion, you will take a break for lunch in a cosy wooden hut. You will enjoy some grilled sausages and snacks by a campfire. There will even be a chance to make coffee with the crystal-clear spring water running nearby. This park is known for its clean water as well as its clean air - the cleanest air in Europe was measured just nearby, so breathe it all in! An outing here is one of nature's gifts. After the hike, the guide will drive you safely back to Levi.
