The trip begins at the starting point in Saariselkä, where you will meet the friendly guide. They have lots of experience and will introduce you to the approachable Finnish horses. You will start with a safety briefing and an introduction to horseback riding. All experience levels are welcome on this tour, as the route will be beginner-friendly. Once you are set up on your horse, you will set off into the Arctic night!
The guide will lead you through the forests that surround the area. On this peaceful evening, you will really appreciate the tranquillity of nature. The only sound will be the soft hooves of the horses in the snow. The pace will be slow, so you can truly experience the quiet of the forest at night and admire the polar night without hurry.
