As one of the largest national parks in Finland, Urho Kekkonen National Park provides a pristine and immersive natural environment for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a range of activities from hiking and skiing to wildlife observation and experiencing the unique Arctic climate. What better way to immerse yourself in the scenic winter landscapes of Saariselkä, than on a guided snowmobile tour?
The adventure begins at the meeting point where you'll meet your experienced guide and board the shuttle to the departure point. Once you've put on all of the winter gear (thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, mittens, and a balaclava), you and your group will be provided with a safety briefing along with an introduction to snowmobiling and snowmobile driving techniques. Then, you'll be ready to hit the snow!
You and your group (a maximum of 35 participants) will set out in the Arctic wilderness and experience the thrill of a lifetime! Please note that each snowmobile accommodates two people. However, you can switch places halfway through the excursion. Both the 2-hour tour and the 4-hour tour options include warm drinks and snacks, as well as stops at scenic locations for amazing group photo opportunities. However, the longer tour includes a delicious hot soup lunch, the perfect way to warm up!
