Discover the thrill of navigating the wilderness of Finland via snowmobile on this 2-hour beginner safari in Saariselkä. Welcoming adventurers of all ages!

Snowmobiling is a great way to discover the winter landscapes of Saariselkä while also having a great time!
For this excursion, participants can choose between being picked up at one of the listed locations or meeting onsite (please specify when booking). Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your experienced and friendly guide. They will provide you and your group (a maximum of 20 participants) with winter gear, including thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, a hat, a scarf, and gloves. Then, you will receive a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to snowmobiling. With your helmet on, the adventure begins!
You'll experience the thrill of travelling at high speeds through the snow and Arctic landscapes of Finland, traversing the scenic hills and fells of the Saariselkä area. Midway through the tour, you'll be treated to a warm drink and a delicious gingerbread cookie. The perfect occasion to relax and enjoy the tranquil and picturesque surroundings as well as take amazing photos! You'll return to the original departure point in Saariselkä with newfound skills and memories that will last a lifetime!

Activity requirements
Please be advised that each person driving a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (B). Please remember to bring your driver's license with you.
In addition, this activity features two persons per snowmobile.
Children 0-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend that a parent or guardian sit with small children in the sledge for the child’s comfort and safety.
If a child over 140 cm (4'5") wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
Special terms
Please note that the snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Personal self-liability is a maximum of 900 €/person/snowmobile/ case of accident. By purchasing a 15 € self-liability insurance before the start of the safari, you reduce the amount of self-liability down to a maximum of 150 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident. Self-liability insurance is personal and valid in one snowmobile safari.
The total snowmobiling time for this excursion is 1.5 hours.
