Beginner Snowmobile Safari in Saariselkä

* Participants can choose between transfers from listed locations or meeting onsite at the Safartica Saariselkä office (please specify when booking)

- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the departure time

- Meet your experienced guide

- Put on your gear (thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, hat, scarf, gloves, and helmet)

- Safety briefing and introduction to snowmobiling

- The adventure begins!

- Hot drink and biscuit break

- Return to the original departure point in Saariselkä

Please be advised that each person driving a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (B). Please remember to bring your driver's license with you.

In addition, this activity features two persons per snowmobile.

Children 0-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend that a parent or guardian sit with small children in the sledge for the child’s comfort and safety.

If a child over 140 cm (4'5") wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).

Please note that the snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Personal self-liability is a maximum of 900 €/person/snowmobile/ case of accident. By purchasing a 15 € self-liability insurance before the start of the safari, you reduce the amount of self-liability down to a maximum of 150 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident. Self-liability insurance is personal and valid in one snowmobile safari.

The total snowmobiling time for this excursion is 1.5 hours.
