Canyon of Montmin near Annecy Lake in Haute-Savoie

The Montmin Canyon is a wild and incredibly fun canyon located at the southern tip of Lake Annecy, in the former commune of Montmin, near Doussard. Highly aquatic in nature, it features numerous waterfalls, each one quite different from the last, set within a breathtaking environment. Jumps, natural water slides, and swimming sections guarantee unforgettable moments in Haute-Savoie, in water sitting at around 14°C - a freshness you will handle with ease thanks to your neoprene wetsuit. Beginners can opt for the "Discovery" descent of the Montmin Canyon, whilst those looking for a bigger rush will appreciate the aptly named "Sensation" route. Both routes include swimming sections, natural water slides, and jumps of up to 7 metres, none of which are compulsory. The only difference is that the "Discovery" route has no abseiling, whereas the "Sensation" route includes a 10-metre abseil. It is up to you whether you fancy giving abseiling a go - that is really all it comes down to when choosing the Montmin Canyon descent that suits you best!
