Practical information
Formed in a deep, narrow gorge, the Pont du Diable Canyon offers an incredible canyoning course, both fun and technical, while remaining very aquatic. Situated halfway between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, in the heart of the Bauges Massif, it features deep pools of crystal-clear water and impressive rock faces between which you will progress for 2.5 to 3 hours. The Pont du Diable Canyon includes jumps up to 9 metres high (all optional), abseils up to 12 metres high and sensational natural slides. 'Biefs' (narrow water passages between 2 walls) are also on the programme!
For an enjoyable experience, without feeling cramped in the canyon, you will take part in the adventure in a group of no more than 8 participants plus the instructor. The instructor will guide you all the way down the Pont du Diable Canyon, ensuring your safety and guiding you through each obstacle so that you overcome them. As well as being able to swim and being in good physical condition, you must be at least 14 years old to take part. The course offers some impressive passages, including one in opposition if the torrent's flow proves too strong!
One of the most beautiful canyons in Savoie, the Pont du Diable Canyon is a must if you want to go canyoning near Annecy and Aix-les-Bains. So if you meet all the conditions for taking part, don't wait any longer and take on the challenge with the Odyssée Canyon team!
