Located between Biscarrosse and Arcachon, Lake Cazaux covers 5,800 hectares straddling the Gironde and Landes regions. Surrounded by pine forests and home to a rich array of aquatic flora and fauna (fish, otters, birds, etc.), it is a popular spot for a host of activities, including scuba diving! So if you are keen to discover a unique underwater world near Bordeaux, don't wait any longer to take your first dive at Lake Cazaux!

This lake, also known as Lake Sanguinet, has a mild temperature and calm waters, ideal conditions for a first dive. You will get into the water one by one, each alongside an instructor who will be dedicated to ensuring you have a completely safe experience. Your first dive in Lake Cazaux will last around 20 minutes and will take you to a maximum depth of 6 metres to discover the incredible sensations of this water sport, as well as the fish that inhabit this natural site.

Even if you are not a good swimmer, you can still take part in this first dive at Lake Sanguinet, an underwater adventure accessible from the age of 8!

It was very nice. The only point was: the instructor gave not much instructions to us. We think bevause we were English spoken. Another group french spoken people got instructions but we didn’t.
