Located in Saint-Etienne-de-Fontbellon near Aubenas, the Grotte des Jeunes is ideal for an introduction to caving. A must-do activity for families in the Ardèche region, the main objective of the introduction to caving at the Grotte des Jeunes is to discover the underground geological world of the Ardèche. Go on an adventure along an underground river in the heart of Ardèche and discover a caving itinerary that is not only underground, but also aquatic!

Accompanied by a state-qualified caving instructor, make your first 20-metre crawl. Progress vertically to descend into the cave and discover the geological treasures it contains. Once you have reached the river, follow it, then climb up to a syphon, a basin through which the river joins the cave. The Grotte des Jeunes then opens up its second part, consisting of a fossil network, without a river and with more clay. Once you are comfortable, you will have the possibility, if you wish, to try to cross the narrow passages.

Höhlentour mit extrem kleinen Eingang, in den gekrochen werden muss. Nichts für Menschen, die keine extreme Enge ertragen können! Nicht für Jeden was, wer ein bisschen Abenteuer mag, ist genau richtig.
