When you arrive at the meeting point in Salavas, you'll be welcomed and meet your state-qualified caving guide. He'll explain how the activity works and give you a safety briefing. Before starting the activity, your instructor will provide you with the necessary equipment: a wetsuit, gloves and a helmet.
Your half-day introduction to caving in the Ardèche will begin with a narrow 5-metre passage, to put you straight in the mood of Cordier to Foussoubie traverse... thrills guaranteed! You'll enter the underground network and face the first 30m abseil of this half-day caving experience. The exploration continues with a refreshing touch: an aquatic passage made up of pools of water that you cross to find your way back to the exit...
Put yourself in the shoes of a real caver and learn more about the geology of the region from your guide's informative commentary.
Set off on an adventure using the light on your helmet and discover hidden treasures dating back to the time of the dinosaurs!

- Arrive at the meeting point and meet the guide
- Drive to the activity site (1km)
- Approach walk to the cave
- Safety briefing and equipment loan
- 3h30 caving session: hike, narrow passages and exploration
- Return to the starting point and end of the activity
Activity requirements
You must be in good physical condition. In the event of a medical problem, please inform the guide in advance and bring any medication you may need with you during the activity (ventolin, insulin, etc.).
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
