Step back in time to the days of the Resistance in the Vercors Regional Nature Park on a guided walk in Valchevrière!
An important place of remembrance in the Vercors, Valchevrière is a historic resistance site. Its ruins, marked by clashes in July 1944, are full of stories that your guide will share with you as you follow in the footsteps of the Resistance in the Vercors.
Lasting between 2.5 and 3 hours, this hike in Valchevrière will enable you to retrace the history of the Resistance in the Vercors through the unique testimonies of Resistance fighters and/or their children that the guide will pass on to you. In a small group of no more than 12 hikers and accompanied by a qualified mountain leader, you will set off on a guided hike in Valchevrière offering a real quality of experience.

- Meeting with the instructor in front of the tourist office in Lans-en-Vercors
- Drive to the hiking area in your own vehicle
- Start of the 2.5 to 3 hours hike to Valchevrière (150 metres of ascent and descent)
- Return to vehicles and end of the tour
Activity requirements
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A written parental authorisation is required for minors between 14 and 18 years old to take part in this activity.
