Mountain biking in the Vercors, a large regional nature park between Grenoble and Valence, is an unmissable sporting and rejuvenating experience in the region. Straddling the Drôme and Isère departments, this mountainous area offers a multitude of routes for superb mountain biking excursions with varying gradients, as well as a magnificent setting with impressive views of its peaks (Mont Aiguille, Le Grand Veymont and Le Moucherotte).

This guided mountain bike ride in the Vercors starts at the Col de l'Arzelier, at the entrance to the Balcon Est du Vercors, and is accessible to families, with a total ascent and descent of 474 metres. Forming an 18-km loop passing through Mauret, Saint-Andéol and Château-Bernard, its strong point lies in the panoramic views it offers of Mont Aiguille, Le Grand Veymont and the Balcons Est du Vercors: you will have plenty to see as you descend the forest path between Mauret and Saint-Andéol! Course of events

- Meeting with the guide at the Altebike premises at Col de l'Arzelier

- Distribution of mountain bikes and equipment, followed by a briefing on the itinerary

- Departure for an 18-km loop of electric mountain biking in the Vercors (approx. 2.5 hours' journey): head towards Mauret and follow the forest road for 8 km with a series of panoramic views, then descend towards Saint-Andéol before returning to Château-Bernard and the Col de l'Arzelier

- Return to the centre, return of equipment and end of the activity

Minimum height for junior bikes: 1m30

Knowing how to ride a bike is compulsory for this activity.
