Course of events
Please allow a full day for this activity.
- Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes early.
- Free parking and toilets will be available on arrival.
- You can leave your belongings on site.
- Introduction of participants, briefing on the weather forecast.
- Equipment, loading and chocking.
- Safety briefing, initiation and boarding.
- Commented and safe navigation with your guide towards the Ile de Ré.
- The round trip paddling time, including breaks, is around 6 to 7 hours.
- 2-hour break: enjoy your picnic on the Ile de Ré and relax.
- Return to the starting point as the tide rises.
Activity requirements
To take part in this activity, you need to know how to swim, be able to immerse yourself and be in good physical shape with good stamina.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult or show parental authorisation to take part in the activity without an accompanying adult.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
The meeting time for this activity is given as a guideline, the exact departure time will depend on the tides and will take place between 8.30 and 10am.
Please arrive on time, as the kayak sails on the ebb tide, you can't miss it.
You can bring your own kayaking equipment if you wish, but this does not change the price of the excursion.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.
