Cast off from the Marcel Pagnol quay for a boat trip along the Côte Bleue, setting off from Marseille! Nicknamed the Côte Bleue due to the exceptional clarity of its seabed, which contrasts with the white limestone of the calanques, this unspoilt stretch of the Provençal coastline lies just to the west of Marseille’s Vieux-Port. As you sail through the harbour entrance, the view opens up to the iconic landmarks of Marseille before the boat sets course for the wild coves. Gliding across the turquoise waters, this boat trip along the Côte Bleue reveals steep coves and natural pools accessible only by sea.
Aboard an agile and comfortable RIB, the route takes in Carry-le-Rouet and the traditional fishing harbour of La Redonne. The trip stops off at the Eaux Salées cove, where the sea, calmed by the rocks, provides a sheltered spot for a first swim. Equipped with a mask and snorkel provided by the skipper, everyone can explore the crystal-clear waters and underwater caves. The excursion continues towards the Grotte de la Madrague and the Méjean cove, where passengers who wish to do so can swim into the heart of a spectacular natural cave. After a leisurely cruise past the Éverine cove and the picturesque port of Niolon, the return journey takes place along the water’s edge towards the harbour of Marseille.
Limited to a maximum of 11 passengers per boat, this boat trip along the Côte Bleue from Marseille guarantees an intimate and friendly atmosphere, far from the tourist crowds. The trip is suitable for everyone, from babies right from birth to older adults. The skipper ensures the safety of the crew throughout the trip and adapts the stops according to sea conditions.
