Overlook the Tarn gorges for around 3 hours on the Liaucous via ferrata near Millau!
The Liaucous via ferrata offers 2 parallel routes that cross each other 3 times, with sections in common: it is the ideal way for the whole family to enjoy a via ferrata activity near Millau! Thanks to its easy and difficult routes, which you can juggle between during the 3 hours of activity, you will enjoy an experience that is adaptable to your level. All you need is to be in good physical condition so that you can complete the route without difficulty, then continue with the 45-minute walk back to the meeting point.
The Liaucous via ferrata, overlooking the Tarn gorges and offering spectacular views of the villages of Mostuéjouls, Le Rozier and Peyreleau below, is made up of various obstacles: monkey bridges, footbridges, ladders and a zip line at the end of the route. You will enjoy incredible sensations as you progress along the easy route, which is completely accessible even if you are apprehensive about heights! A state-qualified instructor will be on hand to guide you and help you follow the route that best suits your level and your desires, in complete safety.
Less than a 30-minute drive from Millau, the Liaucous via ferrata offers you a wonderful adventure between heaven and earth above the Tarn gorges, with some great photos at the end of the route, taken by your instructor along the way!
- Meeting with the instructor at the Liaucous church car park, 15 minutes before departure for the canyon
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions, followed by equipment (neoprene wetsuit and helmet)
- 10-minute approach walk to the start of the via ferrata
- Start of the Liaucous via ferrata course, which lasts around 3 hours
- 45-minute return walk to the car park
- De-equipping and end of the activity
Activity requirements
Minimum weight: 88 lbs (40 kg)
Minimum height: 135 cm
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You must not have any medical contraindications to taking part in this activity (heart problems, recent operation or injury, etc.).
