At the north of the Petite Camargue ponds, Lansargues and the Etang de l'Or offer a superb setting for a walk in the heart of nature. Between wine estates, meadows populated by bulls and Camargue horses, but also ponds where many pink flamingos thrive, this is the ideal place to spend quality time with your family near Montpellier! And to visit the Pays de l'Or, what could be better than a horse-drawn carriage ride in Lansargues?

Drawn by Comtoise horses, the carriage will take you around Lansargues and its surroundings for 2 hours. You will first go along part of La Viredonne, towards the ponds and cabins of Lansargues on the edge of the Etang de l'Or, then head to Mas du Grès and its many meadows where you will be able to see bulls and Camargue horses grazing. The carriage ride will end by going up to the village of Lansargues through plantations of vines, apple trees and other crops of the Pays de l'Or.

Nous avons fait une promenade féerique en calèche dans la Petite Camargue, durant laquelle notre hôte s'est occupé de nous à merveille, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de disponibilité. Un grand merci à Richard et à Darko, son magnifique étalon comtois, qui nous ont conduits en toute sécurité et dans un grand confort à travers ces paysages paisibles et préservés. Les enfants ont adoré la vitesse et le balancement de la calèche. Nous avons pu observer de près des flamants roses, des taureaux, des chevaux de Camargue, des palominos et même un ibis ; nous avons été conquis par la façon dont Richard, malgré la barrière de la langue, a su nous faire découvrir la nature, la faune et la flore, ainsi que l'agriculture et le mode de vie de la région. Nous avons été parfaitement choyés : des boissons fraîches étaient prévues, Richard a répondu avec bienveillance à toutes nos attentes et a toujours eu un sourire chaleureux et un mot gentil pour nos enfants. Une expérience que nous recommandons vivement !
