Perfect for a day out near Nice, the Clue du Riolan canyon between Sigale and Aiglun offers a refreshing, fun-filled water adventure for everyone aged 14 and over. With jumps up to 8 metres high (which can be bypassed over 3 metres), thrilling natural slides, abseils up to 15 metres high, and crystal-clear pools where you can swim, this canyoning trip in the Préalpes d'Azur Regional Nature Park is the ideal way to spend some exceptional time with friends or family!
Accessible in 1 hour by car from Castellane in the Verdon or from Nice, the Clue du Riolan canyon offers 4.5 hours of aquatic adventure, including a picnic break in the heart of nature at the halfway point. A state-qualified instructor will provide you with all the equipment you need for the activity (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, etc.) and will accompany you throughout this canyoning experience near Nice. On the programme: thrills and laughter in a magnificent natural setting, in complete safety under the watchful eye of a professional!

Compulsory jumps: 2 to 3 metres high
Bypassable jumps: up to 8 metres high

Course of events
- Meeting with the instructor on the Riolan bridge in Aiglun
- Carpooling with other participants to get to the starting point of the canyon, so that there are vehicles left at the end of the trip
- Distribution of all the equipment required for the canyoning descent and setting up of the equipment
- 10-minute approach walk
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Launch for a 4.5-hour canyoning descent of the Clue du Riolan, with a lunch break in the middle of the canyon
- End of the course at the Riolan bridge where you will meet up with the remaining vehicles and return to the starting point of the canyon to pick up the others
- De-equipping and end of the activity
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim and be able to put their head underwater to take part in this activity.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Jellyfish-type water shoes are prohibited.
