Activity description

The AFF (Accelerated Freefall) skydiving course aims to teach you the basics of free fall with a series of 6 jumps with 1 or 2 instructors at an altitude of 4,000 m (13,124 ft).

During this course, you will receive a theoretical training that will allow you to understand the techniques of free fall, how to fly under the canopy and how a parachute works.

Throughout your progress, an instructor will film you to analyze the different phases involved in a parachute jump.

You will have the choice between the AFF skydiving intro jump or the AFF course. The difference between the 2 lies in the number of jumps: 1 jump for the AFF intro and 6 for the AFF training. Also, if you still have doubts about the activity, the intro jump is for you, but if you want to become a skydiver, opt for the full training.

Programme for the AFF training:
You begin with the theoretical training at 9 am until mid-afternoon. Depending on the weather and the number of trainees, your first jump usually takes place at the end of the afternoon. The following days, you perform 2 to 3 jumps per day with your instructor.

The program is personalized and adapted to the progress of each student. Your instructor will provide you with a skydiving notebook that certifies your training, your total number of parachute jumps, and the various skydiving certificates you have acquired throughout the training.

You are accompanied by 2 instructors for your 1st jump, and 1 for the following jumps. After getting the basic position and stability, he teaches you how to perform different figures in free fall. He also ensures that you keep an eye on your altimeter to open the parachute at the correct height. From the first jump, you practice the opening of your parachute yourself. Depending on your progress, you will be able to practice different tricks such as loopings and rotations.
