Giant Paddle in Locquirec, near Morlaix in Finistère

Waiting for you on Moulin de la Rive Beach in Locquirec is a 4.5-metre inflatable giant SUP board, a one-of-a-kind way to discover the coastline from the sea whilst having fun with family or friends. With up to 6 to 8 people on the board, you will have the pleasure of paddling either towards the Beg an Fry cliffs or the Douron estuary, along a coastline of magnificent natural scenery. The activity will be adapted to the day's weather and your group's preferences to make sure you have a great time, under the supervision of a state-certified instructor who will keep a close eye on your safety throughout.

Open to everyone from the age of 12, provided you can swim, giant stand-up paddling is a fun activity that will put your group's teamwork to the test. Standing on the SUP board or sitting down, you will need to paddle in sync to move forward and enjoy a maritime escape far more rewarding than a simple boat tour. If the water is clear, you may even be able to spot seagrass meadows beneath the surface, typical of the Atlantic coastline, which are home to a rich array of underwater life (fish, crustaceans, etc.). It is also not uncommon to encounter seabirds along the way: European shags, terns, herring gulls, and more. And for the luckiest among you, there is even a chance of coming across grey seals, often spotted around Carantec!
