Fancy discovering the stunning coastal scenery of Locquirec from the sea, with the chance to get up close to the rocks and cliffs that line the shore? Look no further: this guided stand-up paddle excursion is the activity for you! Lasting 1 hour, this sea escape will take you either to the Beg an Fry cliffs or to the Douron estuary, along a coastline of magnificent natural scenery. A state-certified instructor will be there to guide and commentate throughout, whilst keeping a close eye on your safety. Get ready to discover a little-known but incredible side of the Bay of Morlaix!
Open to everyone from the age of 12, provided you can swim, stand-up paddling is a peaceful activity that allows you to reach parts of the coastline inaccessible by boat. Standing on your SUP board, or even sitting down, all you need to do is paddle at your own pace and enjoy a maritime escape far more rewarding than a simple boat tour. If the water is clear, you may even be able to spot seagrass meadows beneath the surface, typical of the Atlantic coastline, which are home to a rich array of underwater life (fish, crustaceans, etc.). It is also not uncommon to encounter seabirds along the way: European shags, terns, herring gulls, and more. And for the luckiest among you, there is even a chance of coming across grey seals, often spotted around Carantec!
With its exceptional scenery and rich wildlife and flora, the Bay of Morlaix is sure to win you over. So don't wait any longer and join this guided stand-up paddle excursion in Locquirec, an experience that will leave you with wonderful memories of the north Finistère coast!
