Course of events
Please allow 2 hours 45 minutes in total for this activity.
- Arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early
- Meet your skipper at the port: brief presentation of the boat and safety instructions, installation on board.
- Leave the port and set sail with your skipper's first comments (≈ 15 min).
- Sail along the coast (≈ 45 min): discover the cliffs, wild coves and diversity of the Basque landscape. Cross the border and head for Spain.
- Arrive at Fontarabie (≈ 15 min): panoramic view of Hondarribia and its estuary. Explanations on the history and special features of the place.
- Discover the wild coves between Fontarabie and Pasaia (45 minutes).
- In summer (from July to September), wherever possible, a swimming break is planned in a sheltered cove.
- Return to port (≈ 30 min): more relaxed sailing on the return journey. Last views of the coast.
- Return to port and disembark.

Pay parking is available along the Quai de l'Infante, and there is a pay underground car park opposite Saint-Jean-de-Luz station. Free parking is available around the Lycée Maurice Ravel.
