Practical information
Course of events
- Meeting at the Saint-Julien-du-Verdon car park.
- Welcome by the instructor and briefing on the activity, equipment and safety rules.
- Walk along the ridges of the lake of Castillon before descending to the lake.
- Inflating the packrafts.
- Sailing on the lake of Castillon in a packraft with a swimming break.
- Packing of the packraft.
- Walk back to the meeting point.
Activity requirements
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
It's mandatory to put your weight and height so that your reservation is accepted by the instructor.

After arriving at the starting point of the hike, trek over the crests of Lake of Castillon and enjoy spectacular views over the Verdon Regional Nature Park. Once you've reached the shores of Lake of Castillon, cross the lake in a packraft. A hybrid between a sea kayak and a raft, the packraft is a very light inflatable kayak!
