Accessible to everyone, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) involves standing upright on a large, wide board and propelling yourself forward with a paddle. But what exactly is Jumps Paddle? Simply put, it's a more action-packed take on the activity that combines SUP with cliff jumping!
Fancy giving it a try? Come and discover the Gorges du Verdon in a truly unique way and enjoy a fun-filled 3-hour outing with friends! Throughout the session, you'll be guided by a state-qualified instructor from Haute Provence Outdoor, on hand to support you whatever your level or goal.
Lac de Castillon is one of the Verdon's must-do spots for water activities. The second largest lake in the region after Lac de Sainte-Croix, it is fringed by charming villages and sits to the north of Castellane in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département. Its turquoise waters are simply irresistible for a swim!
To kick off your stand-up paddle and jumping session on Lac de Castillon, your guide will run through an introductory briefing on SUP. You'll then have the chance to find your balance during a short initiation session close to the shore. Once you're ready, you'll paddle out to a secret spot on the lake where the stunning Verdon scenery provides the perfect backdrop for some Jumps Paddle. Scramble up the rocks, leap into the water wherever your guide leads you, stay on your board and enjoy a more leisurely paddle around the lake, or simply take a dip in the turquoise waters — the choice is yours!
Nothing is compulsory on this outing beyond the SUP itself, so whatever your level, don't hesitate to book this flexible, all-round activity and soak up the breathtaking scenery of the Verdon on Lac de Castillon!
