A magnificent vertical route above the Gorges du Verdon, the Trou du Renard via cordata is located in La Palud-sur-Verdon, just a stone's throw from Lake Sainte-Croix. Like the via ferrata, the via cordata is a cliff adventure course where the aim is to progress along the walls via various obstacles, the only difference being that it is equipped only with ropes and has no rungs or cables. Here, you will find yourself at a height of around 200 metres, with an unbeatable view of the Verdon gorges, halfway between Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie! So it is best not to be afraid of heights, even if this route is accessible to as many people as possible, as it doesn't present any major difficulties.
On the Trou du Renard via cordata, your small group of no more than 8 participants will be supervised by an experienced Rocksiders instructor, keen to share his passion for adventure with you, in complete safety. They will provide you with all the safety equipment you need to take part in the experience (helmet, harness, lanyards, etc.), then guide you along the course, which features several sensational obstacles, between sections of easy climbing and handrails: a 20-metre-high abseil, a Tarzan jump, a monkey bridge and even a 40-metre-long zip line. One thing's for sure, you won't get bored during the 2.5-hour adventure that awaits you!
Open to all adventurers from the age of 12 (140 cm minimum), the Trou du Renard via cordata course is a must for anyone wishing to discover this activity. So don't hesitate to join the Rocksiders team in La Palud-sur-Verdon and take part in this breathtaking sport above the Verdon gorges!
