Tura'i Mataare surf school proposes discovery sessions and courses for anyone wanting to learn the bases of surfing. Courses last 5 days with sessions of 3h every day, either in the morning or the afternoon. They are available during school holiday periods for children, teenagers or adults.

The surfing and bodyboarding lessons are conducted by state certified instructor Olivier Napias (BEES 2nd degree and life guard) on the east coast of Tahiti, and you will be moving between Pointe Venus and the embouchure of Papenoo depending on the weather conditions and the level and age of the students.

All necessary surfing equipment is provided by the surf school: different sized surf and body boards, rashies and wax. The school also provides the necessary insurance coverage and transportation from your accommodation to the surf spots in the sectors between Punaauia PK14 (Punaru) and Papenoo.
