Adventure Dive for Certified Divers in the Athens Riviera from Athens

Athens is the largest and capital city of Greece. Most well-known for its historical significance and ancient landmarks, Athens also boasts a stunning coastline with sandy beaches and turquoise waters. The Athens Riviera is a coastal area extending southward from the city centre of Athens along the Saronic Gulf. It stretches for over 70km, providing a multitude of diving sites for all levels of certification and experience. 

For this adventure dive, you must have at least a Scuba Diver certification or equivalent to participate. To start, you’ll arrive at the dive centre in Athens and meet the experienced instructor. There are different types of dives that you can choose from, including deep dives, night diving, shipwreck dives, wall dives and reef diving. You’ll receive all of the scuba diving equipment (fins, mask, wetsuit, regulators, Bcd, tank and weights), before driving to the dive site along the Athens Riviera.

There are plenty of sites to visit depending on the weather conditions and your experience. You may visit Posidonia meadows, impressive reefs, walls, underwater passages, caves and wrecks. After gearing up and going through the predive checks, you’ll gradually enter the water from the shore. Then, you will dive beneath the surface for guided exploration! The crystal-clear waters of the Saronic Gulf provide optimal visibility conditions for scuba diving. You may encounter colourful fish, sea turtles, corals, crustaceans and other marine life as you explore the unique underwater landscape. After the dive, you’ll return to the shore and debrief the experience, before driving back to the dive centre in Athens.
