Activity description
The Fun Dives are specially organized for experienced divers who love marine life and want to explore the rich underwater life in the Ionian sea.
In small groups, you will have a shore dive to explore the reef that starts 500 meters away from the beach! A beautiful experience to spice up your holidays!
There are two dives per day: one in the morning at 9:30 and one in the afternoon at 15:00. You will be diving from the boat with an experienced instructor to explore one of the reefs. You will find majestic reefs with depths varying from 7 to 30m. You will pass from 40 to 90 minutes diving in the reef.
The water is crystal clear with temperatures from 17 to 27 degrees Celsius. The visibility is over 10 meters.
The sea bed of the Megachoros reef is simply perfect! You will find vast seagrass beds, huge blocks of stone, small caves covered by corals and shells. The reef houses colourful fish and microscopic creatures that will leave you amazed! In the deep blue you will find often herds of pike and sardines; while exploring the caves and the holes you can find octopuses and groupers. The highlight of the dive is the unique Caretta-Caretta sea turtles that swim around the reef.
There are also dives in the Vetoulia reef where you can have deep dives at 40 m. or you can indulge in a night dive in Megachoros reef.
