Rafting in Tzoumerka is the ultimate adrenaline experience. Arachthos river is known as the best river for rafting for Greeks and tourists alike. Even though some passages are demanding, the route is easy, so it is ideal for beginners. You will get to swim and admire the beauty of waterfalls, gorges and wild nature.

Location
Arachthos river finds its source in the Pindus mountains, in eastern Greece and more precisely it flows in the Epirus region. It is the eighth longest river in Greece, and it is 110 km long. While rafting, you will pass by a rugged landscape, the gorge of Arachthos and several springs.

The highlights of your route? The gorges, the famous Plaka bridge, which is the largest arch bridge in the Balcans, with an arch of 40 meters, and the waterfalls of Glyfkis.

What to expect
You will meet your guides at the arranged meeting point. From there, you will be transferred by minibus to the starting point. You will start rafting and enjoy the surrounding nature. In the middle of the way, you will get to swim in Klifki waterfalls. Once you come out of Arachthos canyon, you will arrive at Plaka bridge.
