Activity description

Visit the best spots in Milos and Poliegos on this 9-hour sailing tour by catamaran, including Kleftiko, Sykia, and Galazia Nera. Welcoming adventurers of all ages on this family-friendly excursion!

Milos is a beautiful Greek island located in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. It is renowned for its stunning beaches, unique volcanic landscapes, and charming villages. On this boat trip, you'll discover the most iconic sites of Milos and the small nearby island of Poliegos.

The adventure begins at the starting point in Adamas, the main port in Milos. You'll board the Lagoon 440 catamaran, which holds up to 20 passengers. The experienced skipper will welcome you on board the large, comfortable ship, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Then, you'll set sail along the coastline of Milos. Along the way, you'll pass the village of Klima, the historical site of Vani and its Sulfer mines, the beautiful Tsigkrado Beach, the coastal area of Glaronisia and the bear-shaped rocks of Arkoudes.

You'll stop at the picturesque Kalogries Bay for your first swimming break. Dive into the azure waters of the Aegean Sea for a refreshing dip! The next stop is at Kleftiko Beach, which is renowned for its unique volcanic rock formations. You can explore beneath the surface of this secluded location with snorkelling gear.

From there you will set sail to Galazia Nera (Blue Waters) on Poliegos, the largest uninhabited island in Greece. Galazia Nera is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, mainly thanks to the transparent, blue colour of the sea. After another swim, you'll head towards the south of Milos. You'll have another swim stop at Gerakas, with its unique rock formations and crystal-clear waters. When you are done swimming, you will enjoy a delicious homemade BBQ lunch.

Throughout the day, you can sunbathe on the deck, spend time with your friends and family, and enjoy ice-cold drinks from the open bar. There will be a speaker on board to play your favourite songs as you cruise around Milos and Poliegos. The full-day trip will end back at the starting point in Adamas.

This 9-hour catamaran cruise is the perfect way to explore the beautiful Greek islands of Milos and Poliegos, with swimming and snorkelling stops in the turquoise waters!

Due to high winds we had to start from the south side of the island and couldn't set the sails. However, the captain and crew more than made up for it with their friendliness. Sailed over to the Blue lagoon and swam, then back to another location for more swimming. Then off to the pirate caves to swim and finally to a nice beach on the northwest side of the island. All throughout the day we were well fed with a breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries. What I thought was lunch was a spread of breads topped with feta or another paste, pieces of bread upon which one could put anchovies, tomatoes and cucumbers and fava spread or another delicious spread. However, that was just a precursor as the then grilled chicken and served us a bountiful lunch of chicken, potatoes salad and a Greek style salad with bread. Finally a little later the served cups of yogurt with chocolate and a crumble topping. There was plenty of water, soft drinks and beer available. It was just a delightful day.
