Mykonos is one of the most famous islands in the Cyclades archipelago in Greece, known for its stunning beaches, ancient history, and traditional whitewashed architecture. On this yacht cruise, you'll sail from Mykonos and discover the nearby islands of Delos and Rhenia!

To start this adventure, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Mykonos on a shuttle bus. Upon arrival at the embarkment point, you'll board the 112-foot luxury sailing yacht and receive a refreshing welcome drink from the friendly crew. After a quick safety and itinerary briefing, the yacht will begin sailing across the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea.

The first stop of the tour is at the untouched island of Rhenia, situated west of Mykonos. The yacht will anchor here so you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters. Snorkelling gear is also available if you wish to explore the underwater landscape and swim with colourful marine life! After the swimming break, a delicious Mediterranean buffet-style lunch will be served, consisting of traditional Greek delicacies and drinks (coffee, wine, or soft drinks).

After lunch, the journey continues to Delos Island, one of Greece's most prominent archaeological sites. A professional guide will take you on a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll also have some free time to visit the museum, walk up Mount Kynthos (112 metres / 367 feet high), and admire the staggering array of ancient ruins. Delos is considered the mythical birthplace of Apollo, the god of light, and his twin sister Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. On the return journey to Mykonos, you'll enjoy a farewell drink while sailing past the incredible panoramic views. Upon arrival at the starting point, you'll be dropped back at your accommodation in Mykonos.

This 7-hour superior cruise includes a guided tour of the archaeological site at Delos, a swimming stop at Rhenia Island, and a buffet lunch served on board.

- Free time to explore the site (approximately 30 minutes)

- Sail back to the starting point

- Return drive to your accommodation in Mykonos

Activity requirements

All passengers must provide their passport details (full name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth) upon reservation.

Passengers are barefoot on board. Closed non-slip shoes (deck shoes/sports shoes) are recommended for exploring the site of Delos. No high-heeled shoes and sandals/flip-flops are allowed on the yacht.

For passengers who disembark at the archaeological site of Delos, the dress code must be moderate wearing shorts, pants, and t-shirts to respect the sacred site. You will not be allowed entry to the site if wearing only swimwear.

Special terms

Pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is included from your accommodation in Mykonos. The exact meeting point and time will be arranged in advance with the instructor.

Wireless radio devices might be provided during the guided tour of the archaeological site of Delos. Any loss or damage is subject to fees payable on the spot upon device redelivery.

We had a great time on our yachting day around the islands of Rhenia and Delos. There was plenty of time to swim around Rhenia and the water was crystal clear. We were not allowed to swim at Delos though, so the choice was to stay on the yacht for two hours while the others toured the island, or go on the excursion. We had originally thought that we would be able to swim at both islands so we did not plan on touring Delos, but once we were told otherwise we decided to join the tour. I'm glad we did though, because it was very interesting history about Greece. The food onboard was delicious and there was all you can drink wine.
