Led by a certified PADI instructor, this discover scuba diving in Naxos is perfect for beginners and teaches basic scuba diving skills. (Please note that this excursion does not count towards PADI certification.)
Your scuba diving in Naxos adventure begins at the Flisvos Dive Center in Naxos at Saint George Beach. Upon your arrival, you and your group (a maximum of 7 participants) will be greeted by your experienced scuba diving instructor. After the initial welcome and itinerary briefing, your instructor will go through scuba safety rules and provide an introduction to the scuba diving equipment, which includes a mask, a tank, a wet suit, fins, a mouthpiece, and a diving computer.
Once you've put on your gear, you'll practice underwater breathing exercises with your instructor. Now the real fun starts! You'll be accompanied on a dive with a 6-metre (19.6-foot) depth. As you breathe with ease in the magical underwater world of Naxos and discover the incredible sensation of the weightlessness and tranquillity of scuba diving, don't keep an eye out for aquatic life such as stonefish, sponges, octopi, and silverfish! You'll return to the surface with a newfound love of scuba diving in Naxos.
