Refresh Dive in Saint-François, Guadeloupe

Practical information
A refresh dive in the Saint-François lagoon, where you will be immersed for around 30 minutes to a maximum depth of 6 metres.
- Dedicated to divers with a minimum Open Water or Level 1 certification who need to review the basics and rediscover the sensations and safety before diving deeper
- Includes pre-dive safety and comfort exercises (mask emptying, air failure, communication, stabilisation, ascent, safety, etc.)
Course of events
Please allow around 2 hours for the whole experience.
- Welcome at the Noa Plongée diving centre in the Saint-François marina (toilets and lockers available at the centre)
- Wetsuit equipment
- Boarding the boat
- Sailing to the dive site (approx. 10 minutes)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Safety and comfort exercises with a reminder of the basics of scuba diving
- Launching with the instructor
- Immersion for around 30 minutes of a refresh dive in the Saint-François lagoon, to a maximum depth of 6 metres
- Sailing back to the marina (approx. 10 minutes)
- De-equipping at the centre while the team rinses and puts away the equipment used, then end of the activity
Activity requirements
A minimum Open Water or Level 1 of scuba diving is required to take part in this activity. All types of certification are accepted: PADI, FFESSM, SSI, CMAS, etc.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.

If you are interested in exploration dives at Saint-François, but haven't dived for a while or don't feel comfortable enough to dive directly to a depth of over 6 metres, this refresh dive in the Saint-François lagoon is the experience for you. Designed to bring you back up to speed with various safety and comfort exercises (partial and full mask emptying, air failure, communication, stabilisation, ascent, safety, etc.), as well as a 30-minute immersion to a maximum depth of 6 metres in the lagoon, this refresher session will allow you to rediscover the sensations of scuba diving with complete confidence.
You will be doing your refresh dive in Saint-François alongside DEJEPS-qualified instructors (State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education and Sport) with over 3 years' experience under their belts, ensuring you get the best teaching, professionalism and safety throughout the session. They will provide you with quality equipment from Mares (SCUBAPRO regulators), renewed every 2 years, on board a comfortable 20-seater boat equipped with an awning to shelter you from the sun. You will take to the water in the Saint-François lagoon, a site offering the best conditions for learning the basics of scuba diving (suitable depth, temperature always above 25°C, etc.). You will also have the pleasure of spotting tropical fish, coral, sponges and cnidarians - a great foretaste of what awaits you on your next dives in Guadeloupe!
