Activity description
Do your first dive in the idyllic lagoon of Saint-François in Guadeloupe, in the company of the multicoloured fish of the region!
The aquatic fauna and flora of Guadeloupe is one of the most beautiful in the world. The coral reef forms a unique underwater eco-system, home to an incredible variety of aquatic plants and creatures. It is therefore a privileged place to spend your first dive!
Your discovery of diving will take place in the lagoon of Saint-François, in the southeast of Grande-Terre. You will launch yourself from the boat with a certified instructor by your side for 15 to 25 minutes of diving (up to your choice) to a depth of 6m. You will experience the first sensations of diving and learn to communicate with your instructor by signaling underwater.
Before or after your dive, you can go snorkeling in the clear waters of the lagoon of Saint-François to enjoy the underwater life you will come across while swimming on the surface of the water, but also to realise the difference between these two activities!
If you are in Guadeloupe and have not yet taken the plunge, don't wait any longer and go to Saint-François for your first dive!
This is a first dive that will take place at the spot of Saint-François’ lagoon with an instructor during 25 minutes and learn some elements of diving. For this activity, an instructor can supervise up to 4 people.
This activity will last for approx. 2 hours (starting / ending time: 2 pm / 4.30 pm) and the water level is 6 meters maximum.
Activity requirements
To participate, you shouldn't be afraid to be underwater but you don’t necessarily need to know how to swim.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
Diving is prohibited for pregnant women and people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated underwater.
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
