Visit the magnificent Crystal Blue cave from Jökulsárlón!
See the splendid ice sculptures in this natural cave near Jökulsárlón.
When you arrive at the meeting point, you'll meet your guide, who will accompany you on the tour. He will explain how the activity works and the safety instructions to be followed. You will then board a jeep to reach Crystal Blue. Your guide will tell you all about the area as you travel in the vehicle.
Once you've reached the caves, you'll take a short walk through the glacial landscape and learn about the famous Vatnajökull glacier and its surroundings, the setting for Game of Thrones and other productions that have taken place here!
The structure and condition of the ice caves vary considerably from season to season. Our guide decides which cave to visit each day depending on safety and weather conditions. You may have the chance to visit other formations such as ice tunnels and crevasses made of blue ice...
