This tour is an extended version of the Reykjavik Peak ATV Tour, you think 1 Hour is not enough? Try this one where we will ascend not one mountain but two!

Our 2h tour takes you off the beaten track. From asphalt and gravel roads to mountain tracks, rocky paths to steep slopes and through a river, you’ll get the thrill of quad biking on a range of terrains. And all surrounded by stunning scenery. Your destinations are two stunning mountain tops that you will reach by taking two completely different and incredible mountain trails that challenge you on the way to the peaks. Your reward? Stunning views across the whole capital area, the Reykjanes peninsula, Viðey Island and even the Snæfellsjökull glacier if the weather conditions are perfect. Reykjavík´s house mountain Esja will be very close and you will have a view over the whole Bláfjöll and Hengill mountain range, where you can spot volcanic activity. It really is twice as nice.

Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that’s as safe as it is fun. Our expert guides will make sure you have all the safety instructions you need before you start the tour. The quad bikes are fully automatic and super easy to use – you just hit the throttle and go!

Tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.

All hotels downtown are in a no-pick-up zone by the city. Therefore you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. You can check www.busstop.is for available bus stops.

When you arrive at the meeting point, you'll meet your guide, who will accompany you on your quad bike excursion. He'll explain how the activity works and the safety instructions to be followed. He will lend you the necessary equipment and then you will set off on your quad bike excursion from Reykjavik.

These excursions are suitable for beginners, and Safari Quad knows how to provide an experience that is as safe as it is fun. The Can-am Outlander Max 650cc quads are fully automatic and very easy to use. What's more, they feature heated grips for those cold winter rides.
