Admiring the northern lights is a dream for many people. With this Northern Lights tour from Reykjavik, you might just be lucky enough to make that dream come true!
Every day, EastWest Iceland's guides keep a close eye on the weather forecast to prepare this tour. When conditions are favorable, the tour is confirmed and you'll set off in a small group of 19 people maximum on a hunt for the northern lights. In a comfortable minibus, you'll drive to a spot far from light pollution to maximize your chances of seeing the aurora.
Once you've found that spot, you can wrap yourself up in a warm Icelandic wool blanket and wait for the northern lights to appear. You'll be served delicious hot chocolate and even have the chance to sample an Icelandic pastry called "kleina". Above your head, the starry sky will already offer a beautiful sight. When the first aurora borealis appear, you'll finally be able to discover the beauty of this natural phenomenon so characteristic of the Nordic regions!

⚠️ Since the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, their presence is never guaranteed.
If you don’t find any lights on the tour, you have the option of going again another day for free (we call it a re-run). You need to notify the guide at [email protected] before 14:00 the following day to rebook your seat (subject to availability).
Only foldable wheelchairs can be accepted. Due to the limited space available for storage, users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters should contact the instructor in advance to confirm the measurements of the equipment.
